BarCycle Cafe Summer Hill

Cool bicycle themed cafe with great food and coffee! It’s a little unassuming, tucked next to the IGA. The food was super tasty and the staff were lovely. Lots of interesting choices for breakfast. I got the eggs florentine and they were generous with the hollandaise sauce

The staff were very enthusiastic and polite while being funny and interactive. The food was also very appetising and generous portions were given as well as fair pricing. The atmosphere was great with many custom biking stools, a few bikes hanging around, a bunch of posters and even a currently used workshop with many seating and a lovely location in summer hill! I had the French toast and it was personally exquisite with maple syrup and ice-cream! With a kids menu and all day breakfast this place has everything from a meetup to a quick stop by, I definitely recommend coming here and having a great time!

The menu is fresh and wholesome, with a great selection of healthy options (love that it’s a no-fry menu!). Their coffee is top-notch—smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. The service is friendly and welcoming, adding to the relaxed yet vibrant vibe. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend for a quality breakfast, brunch, or just a great cup of coffee!

I absolutely love this cafe. Warm friendly atmosphere. Home made Italian food. Wonderful coffee. Must also add the place is spotless. So clean and fresh.

Fantastic atmosphere! My partner and I used to frequent the Millers Point location before we moved, and it was always a great experience. The food is good overall, though the bread could be improved to better suit the steady stream of customers. One of my favourite breakfast items is the Barcycle Giro—delicious, but I think it would be even better with red onions instead of brown, chopped smaller and more consistently for a nicer flavour. Aside from those small points, the vibe is always excellent. The owner often takes time to build rapport and engage with customers, and the staff are friendly and make an effort to connect when they can. If you enjoy a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere, this is definitely the place for you. And if you’re a cyclist and haven’t been yet, it’s worth checking out—you might even meet some new riding mates!

BarCycle in Summer Hill is our weekly go to, Alberto & his wife are absolutely incredible. The food is amazing, reasonably priced and most importantly beautifully curated coffee…chef’s kiss !! You will definitely leave with a smile on your face. Highly recommend.
